On the occasion of Amsterdam Fashion Week SS23, Mars Branding organised a press trip for Steve Madden. Ten French influencers were invited to take part in a unique two-day experience, joining a wider team of 200 European influencers for an exclusive brand moment.

Challenge

Steve Madden is an American fashion brand present in over 50 countries. It was one of the first fashion brands to be listed on the stock exchange, and in 2020, it reported a global turnover of $1.2 billion.
The brand began its communication efforts in France in 2022 with the support of Mars Branding, as it does not currently operate any physical retail stores in the country.
Steve Madden entrusted Mars Branding with its public relations, relying on the agency to build brand awareness and visibility across the French market.

Solution

As Steve Madden has yet to open its own retail store in France, sales development is primarily driven through the brand’s e-commerce site.
It was during Amsterdam Fashion Week that Steve Madden chose to host its own fashion show, bringing together influencers from across Europe.

Throughout the weekend, our influencers : @ilonaaln, @lounapoy, @alexgoya, @nourhene, @kellynsun, @louisergtt, @isiaarcang, @yasminegologchoklova, @tyciadchannel, and @fintho, took part in a variety of Steve Madden activities, including the brand’s first-ever European fashion show.
